Creative Europe Desk UK - Scotland invites arts, creative and heritage organisations to find out more about the funding opportunities available as part of Creative Europe's Culture sub-programme, which supports organisations operating across the cultural and creative sectors to take part in long-term transnational collaboration. Funding is available for Cooperation Projects, European Platforms, European Networks and Literary Translation.
- Kate Deans, Creative Europe Desk UK - Scotland, will present the four funding opportunities, eligibility conditions and how to develop a strong project and application.
- Neil Butler, UZ Arts, will talk about their experience of delivering an EU-funded platform, IN SITU. Neil Butler is the artistic director of Glasgow-based charity UZ Arts which works across borders and artforms in Europe and further afield. They are a founding partner of IN SITU, a European network funded by the European Platforms strand of Creative Europe. IN SITU focuses on promoting outdoor arts and enabling artists and producers to travel throughout Europe, creating new opportunities and collaborations.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided, and there will be an opportunity for networking with fellow attendees during a coffee break.
This event is free and open to organisations in the creative and cultural sectors. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please let us know in advance so that we can reallocate your ticket.
