Creative Europe Culture Information Seminar - London
60 Farringdon Rd, Farringdon, London EC1R 3GA
Please join the Creative Europe Desk UK England team at this free event to find out more about the funding opportunities for the cultural, creative and heritage sectors available through Creative Europe's Culture sub-programme. This programme supports cooperation, partnerships and exchange between arts, culture and heritage organisations across different European countries.
A diverse range of creative and cultural projects across arts forms are supported such as visual arts, dance, theatre, literature, music, heritage, architecture, design, festivals, fashion, arts social enterprises, and those who work in the wider creative and cultural industries.
The seminar will give attendees the opportunity to hear from Creative Europe Desk UK about the funding opportunities, with a particular focus on Cooperation Projects - the next funding call is expected to open in Autumn. We'll talk about the aims and priorities of this opportunity including what makes a strong application, and you'll hear from current Creative Europe beneficiaries about their approach to managing a project.
We're delighted to confirm the following speakers:
- Producer Sarah Crompton of New International Encounter (NIE). NIE have had many years of experience of international collaborations with several Creative Europe projects. Sarah will share insights into how a successful Cooperation Project, and the partnership that underpins it, works.
- Sholeh Johnston, an Associate of Julie's Bicycle, where she was previously Head of Creative Programmes. Sholeh will share her insight, experience and advice on the Creative Climate Leadership and Julie's Bicycles’ journey through European partnerships and funding.
