Beyond Touring: From International Networking to Transnational Projects
Fringe Central @ Infirmary Street, Edinburgh High School Yards, Edinburgh, EH1 1LZ
Creative Europe Desk UK will once again be running a series of events during the Edinburgh Festivals in August.
As part of the Fringe Central Events Programme, designed specifically for participants in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Creative Europe Desk UK hosts a panel discussing the longer-term benefits of working together across borders.
Panel speakers
- Chair: Laura Mackenzie Stuart, Head of Theatre at Creative Scotland
- Neil Butler, Director, UZ Arts, partner in the In Situ network whose projects have received both European Platform and Cooperation Project funding
- Emma Sampson, Upstart Theatre (partner in Cooperation Project Phone Home)
- Christine Devaney, Curious Seed, who, through Imaginate, participated in an international residency programme as part of Fresh Track Europe, a project funded by the previous Culture Programme
We’re at one of the largest international arts events so there’s no better time to develop international links and learn about international opportunities such as Creative Europe support for collaborative European projects.
Arts organisations from Scotland and other European countries share their experiences of transnational projects and you’re invited to join the discussion on how international collaboration offers new perspectives on how we approach audiences, use digital technologies and resource projects.
You may be asked to show your Participant pass upon entry.
